Give your budding nature lovers an update that'll feed their fascination with creatures great and small with this lily pad motif.

We used this effect in Frankie's bedroom makeover on the ceiling, but if you're looking for an easier way to use these at home, it looks great as a feature wall, or you could do it behind the bed so that the lily pads frame the bedhead. Wherever you decide to put them, they will surely put a hop in your little one's step.

You will need

Step 1. Paint your wall in Lost Lake

Step 2. Once dry, draw around your circular object with chalk (you can rub this out after painting).

Step 3. Paint the circle with Kiwi Crush using a brush.

Step 4. Once dry, mark the centre of the circle with chalk and use the tape to make a ‘V’ shape from the centre to the circle edge.

Step 5. Paint inside the ‘V’ with kiwi crush to seal the edge of the tape to prevent the paint bleeding. Once dry, paint the inside of the ‘V’ with Lost Lake.

Step 6. Remove tape and say hello to your lily pond!
