Established over 200 years ago, Heal's is a destination for design with a reputation for championing quality and British craftsmanship. Now, the brand has further cemented its status as a go-to for stylish living with a brand new concept store on London's Westbourne Grove.

Heals Queen 2

Housed on the ground floor of an iconic former Art Deco cinema, known as Queens building, the store's main draw is its impressive lighting department, touted as one of the best in the capital. As statement lighting is fast becoming the most in demand home accessory of the moment, with this new showroom, Heal's has tapped into the trend and focused on meeting said demand for fresh, innovative lighting designs.

Although the store is considerably smaller than its sister branches, the lighting department offers an array of contemporary styles and price points, from classic lighting brands such as Anglepoise and Original BTC, to quirky newcomers of the genre, Brokis and Innermost, so there's a lightbulb moment for every corner of the home. Our top finds include its elegant Grace glass pendant (£140) and the playful neon letters by irreverent Italian company Seletti (from £40), pictured above.

Aside from a dazzling selection of lighting at its new store, Heal’s has launched a bespoke design service directly to customers, including made-to-measure bookshelves, wardrobes, kitchens, or indeed any bespoke fittings for your home. Keep your eyes peeled this summer for an all-new online store, too – it's sure to make it into your bookmarks bar.
